NAPS2 (Not Another PDF Scanner 2) allows you to use your Windows scanner (scanners with WIA and TWAIN Windows drivers are supported) to quickly scan paper documents to PDFs (or to images if preferred). Scanned images can be edited or rotated and the order of images changed before saving as a PDF. Saved PDFs can be made searchable using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to identify text from the images.
Scanner profiles can be saved to allow for different scanning settings (different scanners, colour, resolution, paper size, scan from glass flatbed or automatic document feeder) to be chosen quickly.
